If you were around here way back at the beginning, you might remember a cool video I posted showing the view from a Space Shuttle booster rocket as it fell from the edge of space back down to the surface of the ocean. If you weren’t, well, click here for some awesome. Came across this today: a Romanian teenager launched a lego model of a Space Shuttle using a weather balloon and captured video of its flight all the way to the top of the atmosphere:

There are two fantastic moments: when you get above the clouds for the first time, and when you get the darkness of space above and the curvature of the horizon at the same time. Whoo!
