You might recall I wrote about David Thomson’s film biographies a while ago. I really like them. Thomson is the man behind the Biographical Dictionary of Film, a mighty opus profiling all sorts of Hollywood types. Here is a review of its latest edition by none other than Clive James! It’s pretty hilarious, especially on Thomson’s many, many infatuations with young female movie stars:
