We saw Black Swan a couple of weeks ago. As Peter Bradshaw says in The Guardian (link below), it was enjoyably crazy. It’s clear from early on that it’s a melodrama so it doesn’t really matter that it’s all wildly unlikely, plus it’s well enough made that it wasn’t difficult to keep disbelief suspended throughout the shenanigans. Recommended, with the warning that a) there are a few creepy shocks, and b) it does an exceptional job of making you feel physically uncomfortable: think cracked and bleeding toenails, especially. Brrr.
