We went to Seattle for thanksgiving, hence a) our visit to Twin Peaks and b) a relatively slow rate of new posts over the past five days.

Findings: 1) the North West is full of amazing bridges, some of which we photographed and which I’ll post about in due course. 2) it is surprisingly easy to drive enormous distances in America. We were on the road for nearly 14 hours yesterday but it was no more tiring than, say, the six to seven hour drive from Oxford to Edinburgh. Also the landscapes are more spectacular… (more photos to come if any of them turned out good).
