Among the list of places I’d like to visit but doubt I’ll ever get to, Kamchatka ranks quite high. This travel story tells of 30 regularly erupting volcanoes, boiling mud holes, bears everywhere, lakes filled with salmon, etc. Problem is it’s so remote and inaccessible that you have to travel around by helicopter, making it something of a premium destination.
